Donaco International, the Australian-listed casino operator, has seen a significant increase in its EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) for the third quarter of the year. The company reported that its EBITDA was up 66% quarter-on-quarter, driven by strong performance at its casinos in Cambodia and Vietnam.
The company operates two casinos in Southeast Asia – Star Vegas Resort and Club in Cambodia, and Aristo International Hotel in Vietnam. Both properties have been performing exceptionally well in recent months, with a steady increase in visitor numbers and gaming revenue.
At Star Vegas Resort and Club in Cambodia, EBITDA for the quarter was up by a whopping 118% compared to the previous quarter. The casino has been attracting a growing number of visitors from neighboring countries, thanks to its strategic location near the Thai border. The property has also benefitted from an increase in VIP gaming activity, as high-rollers flock to the casino for a luxury gambling experience.
Meanwhile, at the Aristo International Hotel in Vietnam, EBITDA was up by 33% quarter-on-quarter. The property has been successful in targeting the local market, with a strong focus on non-gaming amenities such as restaurants, bars, and entertainment facilities. The casino has also seen an increase in visitors from China, as more tourists seek out new destinations in Southeast Asia.
Donaco CEO, Lee Bug Huy, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s performance in a recent statement. He credited the strong results to the hard work and dedication of the staff, as well as the company’s focus on delivering a high-quality gaming and entertainment experience to its customers.
The positive financial results have boosted investor confidence in Donaco International, with the company’s share price seeing a significant increase in the past few weeks. Analysts have also expressed optimism about the company’s future prospects, with some predicting continued growth in the coming quarters.
Overall, Donaco’s strong performance in Cambodia and Vietnam demonstrates the company’s ability to thrive in the competitive Asian gaming market. With a solid strategy and a focus on customer satisfaction, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for high-quality casino entertainment in the region.
