Two people were injured in a shooting that took place on Casino Road in Everett last night. The incident occurred around 9pm near the intersection of Casino Road and Evergreen Way.
According to witnesses, multiple gunshots were heard in the area and chaos ensued as people scrambled to safety. The victims, a man and a woman in their late 20s, were found lying on the ground with gunshot wounds when emergency services arrived at the scene.
Both individuals were rushed to Providence Regional Medical Center for treatment and are currently in stable condition. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed, but they are said to be non-life-threatening.
