In a major crackdown on illegal gambling activities, authorities raided a factory in Ludhiana and arrested 10 individuals, seizing a total of Rs 7.64 lakh in cash. The operation was carried out after receiving a tip-off about the factory being used as a front for an underground gambling ring.
According to sources, the factory, located in the industrial area of Ludhiana, was reportedly being used as a hub for illegal gambling activities, with individuals gathering at the premises to place bets on various games of chance.
