In a celebration of traditional New Mexican cuisine, Tesque Casino will be hosting the 3rd World Posole Cooking Championship in October. The event, which is set to take place on October 15th and 16th, will bring together chefs from around the world to compete for the title of Posole Champion.
Posole, a hearty stew made from hominy, pork or chicken, and chile peppers, is a beloved dish in New Mexico that has been enjoyed by generations of families. The championship aims to showcase the diversity and creativity of posole recipes, while also highlighting the skill and talent of the chefs who create them.
