Resorts World Las Vegas, the newest casino on the famed Las Vegas Strip, has found itself in the spotlight after a complaint was filed against the property by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
The complaint, which was filed on Monday, alleges that Resorts World failed to properly monitor and report customer bonuses and gaming promotions in accordance with state regulations. The complaint also claims that the casino did not adequately address customer complaints and concerns regarding these issues.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board has scheduled a hearing to address the complaint on October 7, where Resorts World will have the opportunity to respond to the allegations and present evidence in its defense. If found guilty of the violations, the casino could face fines or other penalties imposed by the board.
Resorts World Las Vegas, which opened its doors in June of this year, has been a highly anticipated addition to the Las Vegas casino scene. The $4.3 billion resort features a 117,000 square foot casino floor with over 1,400 slot machines and 117 table games, as well as a 5,000-seat theater for live entertainment.
Despite the current controversy, Resorts World has received positive reviews from guests and industry insiders alike. The property boasts top-notch dining options, luxurious accommodations, and a wide range of entertainment offerings, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
In a statement released in response to the complaint, Resorts World spokesperson Samantha Price said, “We take these allegations very seriously and are fully cooperating with the Gaming Control Board to address any issues that may have arisen. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance in all aspects of our operations.”
As the hearing date approaches, all eyes will be on Resorts World Las Vegas to see how they respond to the allegations and whether they will be able to maintain their stellar reputation in the competitive Las Vegas casino market.
