Cherokee Nation, one of the largest Native American tribes in the United States, has announced plans to expand its gaming operations in Oklahoma and Arkansas. The tribe, which owns and operates several casinos in both states, is set to open a new casino in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, as well as expand its existing casino in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The new casino in Tahlequah, which will be known as the Cherokee Casino Tahlequah, is set to be a state-of-the-art gaming facility that will offer a wide range of slot machines, table games, and other entertainment options. The casino will also feature a hotel, restaurants, and a variety of amenities for guests to enjoy.
In addition to the new casino in Tahlequah, Cherokee Nation also announced plans to expand its existing casino in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The casino, which is currently known as the Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs, will undergo a massive renovation that will include the addition of a new hotel, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
The expansion of Cherokee Nation’s gaming operations is expected to bring a significant economic boost to both Oklahoma and Arkansas. The new and renovated casinos are expected to create hundreds of new jobs in both states and generate millions of dollars in revenue for the tribe.
“We are excited to announce these new developments in our gaming operations,” said Chuck Hoskin Jr., Principal Chief of Cherokee Nation. “These new and expanded casinos will not only provide new entertainment options for our guests but will also create new opportunities for economic growth in the communities where they are located.”
Cherokee Nation currently operates several casinos in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, including the Cherokee Casino Resort in Catoosa, Oklahoma, and the Cherokee Casino Roland in Roland, Arkansas. The tribe’s gaming operations have been a major source of revenue for the tribe and have helped fund a variety of programs and services for its members.
The expansion of Cherokee Nation’s gaming operations comes at a time when the tribe is looking to diversify its revenue streams and invest in new opportunities for growth. The tribe has already announced plans to develop new retail and entertainment destinations in its tribal lands, as well as expand its hospitality and tourism offerings.
With the opening of the new casino in Tahlequah and the expansion of the casino in Fayetteville, Cherokee Nation is poised to continue its growth and make a significant impact on the economies of both Oklahoma and Arkansas. The tribe’s commitment to providing world-class entertainment experiences for its guests, as well as creating new opportunities for economic development in the communities where it operates, is sure to solidify its place as a leader in the gaming industry.
