LAS VEGAS – Scott Seiver has had an incredible summer at the World Series of Poker, capturing three bracelets and solidifying his spot as the 2024 WSOP Player of the Year. Seiver’s journey to becoming the 2024 WSOP Player of the Year began with his first bracelet win in Event #12, the $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better tournament. Just a few days later, Seiver found himself at another final table, this time in Event #35, the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship. But Seiver wasn’t done yet. In the final event of the series, Event #69, the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, Seiver put on a masterful performance, outlasting a field of 617 players to claim his third bracelet and the prestigious title of 2024 WSOP Player of the Year. Seiver took home a staggering $2,619,818 for his Main Event win, bringing his total earnings for the summer to an impressive $2,993,549.
In addition to his three bracelet wins, Seiver also cashed in several other events throughout the series, further solidifying his claim to the Player of the Year title. With a total of four WSOP cashes and three bracelets, Seiver’s performance this summer has been nothing short of remarkable.
