CASA of Hidalgo County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for abused and neglected children in the foster care system, is gearing up for their annual fundraiser with a twist – a casino night extravaganza.
The event, set to take place on November 15th at the prestigious Hidalgo County Convention Center, is expected to be an evening of glitz, glamour, and giving back. Guests will be treated to a night of high stakes gambling, live entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and exciting raffle prizes.
“We are thrilled to host our first ever casino night fundraiser,” says Maria Ramirez, executive director of CASA of Hidalgo County. “Not only is it a fun and entertaining way to raise much-needed funds for our organization, but it also provides an opportunity for our community to come together and support a great cause.”
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting CASA’s mission of providing trained volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in the foster care system. These volunteers are instrumental in ensuring that these vulnerable children have a voice in the court system and receive the support and services they need to thrive.
In addition to the casino games, guests can expect to enjoy a variety of entertainment options, including live music, a silent auction, and a photo booth. There will also be delicious food and drinks provided by local vendors.
Tickets for the event are now on sale and can be purchased online through the CASA of Hidalgo County website. The organization is also seeking sponsors and donors to help make the event a success.
