Authorities in Fresno have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting that took place earlier this month during a raid on an illegal gambling operation, police said.
The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Marcus Thompson, was taken into custody during the raid conducted by the Fresno Police Department and the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday evening. Thompson is accused of fatally shooting 35-year-old Daniel Sanchez in a dispute over gambling debts on December 3.
