On June 7, the highly anticipated Two Kings Casino broke ground in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the local community and gaming enthusiasts alike. The casino, a joint venture between the Catawba Indian Nation and Delaware North, is set to become a premier destination for gaming and entertainment in the region.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by tribal leaders, local officials, and members of the community, all eager to witness the start of construction on the $273 million project. Two Kings Casino is expected to create over 2,600 jobs during its construction phase and an additional 2,000 permanent jobs once it opens its doors to the public.
“We are thrilled to be breaking ground on Two Kings Casino, a project that will not only bring economic opportunities to the region but also provide a world-class entertainment experience for our guests,” said Bill Keena, President of Delaware North’s gaming division.
The casino will feature a state-of-the-art gaming floor with over 1,700 slot machines, 50 table games, and a poker room. In addition to the gaming options, Two Kings Casino will also offer a variety of dining experiences, including a buffet, a steakhouse, and a sports bar. Guests can also look forward to live entertainment, luxury hotel accommodations, and a spa and fitness center.

The groundbreaking of Two Kings Casino comes after years of planning and negotiations between the Catawba Indian Nation, Delaware North, and local officials.
