After nearly three decades of entertaining guests with its extravagant shows and luxurious amenities, Mirage Las Vegas has announced that it will be closing its doors to make way for the world-renowned Hard Rock Cafe brand.
The iconic hotel and casino, located on the Las Vegas Strip, has been a staple in the city’s entertainment scene since it first opened in 1989. Known for its tropical theme, including a massive indoor rainforest and a 54-foot volcano that erupts nightly, Mirage has attracted millions of visitors from around the world over the years.
But now, as the city continues to evolve and reinvent itself, Mirage has decided to make way for a new era of entertainment by partnering with Hard Rock Cafe to bring its unique blend of music, dining, and memorabilia to the Las Vegas Strip.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Hard Rock Cafe to bring a new level of excitement and entertainment to our guests,” said Mirage Las Vegas CEO John Jones. “While Mirage has been a beloved destination for many years, we believe that this new partnership will help us attract a whole new generation of visitors who are looking for a fresh and exciting experience.”
Hard Rock Cafe, known for its collection of rock and roll memorabilia, live music performances, and signature dishes like its legendary hamburgers and ribs, is set to bring its signature blend of music, food, and fun to the Las Vegas Strip in the coming months.
“We are excited to bring the Hard Rock Cafe experience to Las Vegas,” said Hard Rock Cafe CEO Sarah Smith. “We have always had a strong presence in the city, and we can’t wait to show our fans and guests all of the exciting new things we have in store at Mirage Las Vegas.”
While the exact details of the transition are still being finalized, Mirage Las Vegas has promised that they will work closely with all of their employees to ensure a smooth and seamless transition to new positions within the company or to help them find new opportunities elsewhere.
As for the future of Mirage Las Vegas, Jones said that they are exploring several possibilities for the property, including potentially developing a new hotel and casino concept that will continue to attract visitors from all over the world.
“We have big plans for Mirage Las Vegas, and we are excited to see what the future holds,” Jones said. “We are confident that this new partnership with Hard Rock Cafe will take Mirage to new heights and create a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination that will keep guests coming back for years to come.”
With Mirage Las Vegas set to close its doors in the coming months, fans and visitors alike are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Hard Rock Cafe and the exciting new experiences that it will bring to the Las Vegas Strip.
