Eckerd Connects, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth and families in need, hosted their second annual Casino Night fundraiser last Saturday at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Tampa. The event was a resounding success, with over 300 guests in attendance and thousands of dollars raised to support the organization’s vital programs.
The evening kicked off with a cocktail hour, where guests mingled and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and drinks while browsing through a silent auction featuring items donated by local businesses and supporters. As the night went on, guests were invited to try their luck at the various casino games set up throughout the venue, including blackjack, craps, and roulette. Professional dealers were on hand to guide guests through the games and ensure a fun and authentic casino experience.
In addition to the gaming tables, guests were also treated to live music from a local band, a photo booth for capturing memories of the evening, and a gourmet buffet that featured a tantalizing array of dishes from local chefs.
