The regulator found that BlokDance was allowing users to place bets on dance battles and competitions, which is a violation of Dutch gambling laws.

Despite BlokDance’s defense, the KSA proceeded to issue the hefty fine of €840,000, citing the seriousness of the violations and the need to ensure compliance with Dutch gambling laws. The regulator also ordered BlokDance to cease all gambling activities on its platform immediately and to implement stronger measures to prevent future violations.
