Chadron State College showed a winning hand during their annual Homecoming celebration with a successful Casino Night event that brought together students, alumni, and community members for a night of fun and fundraising.
The event, which took place in the college’s Student Center Ballroom, featured a variety of casino games including blackjack, poker, and roulette. Attendees were able to try their luck at the tables while socializing with friends and enjoying light refreshments.
“We wanted to create an event that would appeal to a wide range of people and bring the community together,” said Sarah Adams, the event organizer. “Casino Night seemed like the perfect opportunity to do just that.”
In addition to the casino games, there were also raffle prizes, silent auctions, and a photo booth for attendees to enjoy. All proceeds from the event went towards supporting the college’s student programs and scholarships.
“This event is a great way for us to raise money for a good cause while also having a great time,” said Chadron State College student, Mark Johnson. “It’s always a fun night and a great way to kick off Homecoming weekend.”
The event was a huge success, drawing a large crowd of over 200 attendees and raising thousands of dollars for the college’s programs. The atmosphere was lively and festive, with attendees dressed in their best casino attire and enjoying the thrill of the games.
Overall, Casino Night proved to be a winning hand for Chadron State College, showcasing the strong sense of community and support that exists on campus. Attendees left the event feeling exhilarated and excited for the rest of Homecoming weekend.
“With the success of this event, we are already looking forward to next year’s Casino Night,” said Adams. “It’s a great way for us to come together as a community and support our college and its students.”
