Local non-profit organization, Health for All, has recently launched a mobile clinic aimed at providing healthcare services to underprivileged families living near Casino Road in Everett. The mobile clinic, outfitted with medical equipment and staffed by trained healthcare professionals, travels to various locations in the community to offer much-needed medical care to those who may not have easy access to traditional healthcare facilities.
The clinic is the brainchild of Dr. Sarah Patel, a dedicated physician who has seen firsthand the struggles that many families in the area face when it comes to accessing healthcare. “I have always been passionate about providing healthcare to underserved communities,” Dr. Patel explained. “I wanted to create a solution that would bring medical care directly to those who need it most.”
The mobile clinic offers a wide range of services, including general check-ups, vaccinations, blood pressure screenings, diabetes management, and more. In addition to medical care, the clinic also provides resources and referrals for additional support services, such as mental health counseling, housing assistance, and food security programs.
For many residents living near Casino Road, the mobile clinic has been a lifeline. Maria Lopez, a single mother of three, shared her experience with the clinic, saying, “I wouldn’t know what to do without the mobile clinic. It’s such a relief to have access to healthcare for my children without having to worry about the cost.”
The mobile clinic has received overwhelming support from the community, with local businesses and organizations pitching in to help cover the costs of operating the clinic. Even the city of Everett has shown its support, providing a grant to help fund the mobile clinic’s operations.
“We are proud to support Health for All and their mobile clinic initiative,” said Mayor Cassie Franklin. “Access to healthcare is a fundamental right, and we are committed to ensuring that all residents have access to the medical care they need.”
As the mobile clinic continues to serve the community, Dr. Patel and her team are hopeful that their efforts will help improve the overall health and well-being of underprivileged families living near Casino Road. “Our mission is to make healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances,” Dr. Patel said. “We believe that everyone deserves quality healthcare, and we are committed to making that a reality for the residents of Everett.”
