TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (YourCentralValley.com) – A gas leak at Eagle Mountain Casino in Tulare County prompted the evacuation of patrons and staff on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when employees at the casino reported a strong odor of natural gas in the building. The Tulare County Fire Department was immediately contacted and responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters quickly determined that there was indeed a gas leak coming from a nearby gas line. As a precautionary measure, they made the decision to evacuate the entire casino in order to ensure the safety of everyone on the premises.
