Horizon House Transitional Shelter is hosting an event that is sure to be a night to remember – Casino Night and Adult Prom! This unique fundraiser promises to bring together guests for an evening of glitz, glamour, and giving back to the community.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 20 at the luxurious Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel. Guests will be treated to a night filled with casino games such as blackjack, poker, and roulette, where they can try their luck at winning fabulous prizes. Additionally, a silent auction will feature a variety of items up for bid, with all proceeds going directly to support Horizon House Transitional Shelter and its mission to provide housing, support, and resources for individuals experiencing homelessness.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there – the highlight of the evening will be the Adult Prom, where guests can relive their high school glory days and dance the night away to live music and a DJ spinning all the hits. From slow dances to fast beats, the Adult Prom promises to provide a nostalgic and fun-filled experience for all who attend.
“We are thrilled to host this event and bring the community together for a night of entertainment and philanthropy,” said Sarah Johnson, Executive Director of Horizon House Transitional Shelter. “By supporting our programs and services, guests will be directly impacting the lives of those in need and helping us continue our mission of providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals experiencing homelessness.”
Tickets for the event are $100 per person and include food, drinks, and entertainment throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in their best formal attire for a chance to win the title of Prom King and Queen.
