In a groundbreaking partnership, the Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (UEMA) and the popular social media platform Kwai have joined forces to launch the first-ever Big Beautiful Women Influencer Masterclass (BBWIM) in Brazil. The initiative aims to empower and uplift plus-size women on social media, providing them with the tools and knowledge to succeed as influencers in the digital world.
The BBWIM program will consist of a series of workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions led by industry experts and successful influencers. Participants will learn about content creation, social media marketing, brand partnerships, and self-confidence building. The ultimate goal is to help these women build a strong personal brand, grow their online presence, and ultimately monetize their platforms.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Kwai and UEMA to bring the BBWIM program to life,” said Ana Santos, a professor at UEMA and one of the organizers of the initiative. “We believe that representation matters, and we want to provide plus-size women with the support and resources they need to thrive in the influencer industry.”
The BBWIM program has already garnered widespread attention and support, with many plus-size influencers expressing excitement about the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and learn from experienced professionals. The program is open to women of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds, with a focus on promoting body positivity and inclusivity in the influencer space.
“I am so grateful for the chance to be a part of the BBWIM program,” said Daniela, a participant in the masterclass. “Being a plus-size woman in the influencer world can be challenging, but this program is giving me the confidence and skills I need to succeed. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.”
The BBWIM program is set to launch later this month, with applications now open for interested participants. With the support of UEMA and Kwai, plus-size influencers in Brazil are poised to break barriers, shatter stereotypes, and take the digital world by storm.
