Caesars Windsor, one of the premier entertainment destinations in Ontario, has recently announced that they will be cutting back hours for their sports betting counter. This decision comes as a surprise to many patrons who have come to rely on the convenience of being able to place their bets in-person at the casino.
The sports betting counter at Caesars Windsor has long been a popular spot for sports enthusiasts looking to wager on a variety of events, including football, basketball, hockey, and more. However, in a statement released by the casino, they cited a decrease in demand for in-person betting as the reason for the reduction in hours.
“We are constantly evaluating our offerings to ensure that we are providing the best possible experience for our guests,” said a spokesperson for Caesars Windsor. “After careful consideration, we have determined that there is a decreasing need for in-person sports betting, and as a result, we will be adjusting the hours of our sports betting counter.”
Starting next month, the sports betting counter at Caesars Windsor will be open from noon until 8 PM on weekdays and from 10 AM until 6 PM on weekends. This represents a significant reduction in operating hours compared to the previous schedule, which saw the counter open from 10 AM until midnight every day.
Many patrons have expressed disappointment at the news, with some pointing out that being able to place bets in-person added to the excitement of the experience. “I used to love coming here to watch games and bet on them in person. It’s just not the same doing it online,” said one regular customer.
While the decision to cut back hours at the sports betting counter may disappoint some patrons, Caesars Windsor is quick to point out that they will continue to offer a wide range of betting options, including online sports betting through their website and mobile app.
“We remain committed to providing our guests with a top-notch sports betting experience, whether they prefer to wager in person or online,” said the spokesperson. “We believe that this adjustment will allow us to better allocate our resources and continue to offer the best possible service to our valued customers.”
Despite the changes, Caesars Windsor remains a popular destination for sports fans and gamblers alike, offering a wide range of gaming options, entertainment, and dining choices. Patrons can still enjoy the excitement of placing bets on their favorite sports teams, even if it means doing so online rather than in person at the sports betting counter.
