Atlantic City, NJ – Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort is set to open a new bar experience unlike any other, as they announce the grand opening of the ‘Medal Bar’ with a special appearance by Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes.
The ‘Medal Bar’ will be a unique sports bar concept, celebrating the achievements of athletes from around the world. The bar will feature memorabilia and artifacts from various Olympic games, as well as TVs airing live sporting events for guests to enjoy.
To kick off the grand opening, the Ocean Casino Resort has enlisted the help of Dominique Dawes, a three-time Olympic gymnast and gold medalist. Dawes is known for her incredible performances at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, where she helped lead the US women’s gymnastics team to victory.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the grand opening of the ‘Medal Bar’ at the Ocean Casino Resort,” Dawes said in a statement. “As an Olympic athlete, I know the hard work and dedication it takes to reach the top of your sport, and I am excited to share that experience with the guests at the resort.”
In addition to meeting Dominique Dawes, guests at the ‘Medal Bar’ grand opening will also have the opportunity to enjoy special cocktails inspired by Olympic athletes, as well as live music and entertainment throughout the night.
“We are so excited to bring the ‘Medal Bar’ to Atlantic City and provide our guests with a one-of-a-kind sports bar experience,” said Terry Glebocki, CEO of the Ocean Casino Resort. “We can’t wait for everyone to come out and celebrate with us, and to meet Dominique Dawes, who is truly an inspiration to athletes of all ages.”
The grand opening of the ‘Medal Bar’ at the Ocean Casino Resort is set to take place on Friday, September 10th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7pm followed by a meet-and-greet with Dominique Dawes. The event is open to guests of all ages and promises to be a night to remember.
