Cleveland, Ohio – Authorities were called to the JACK Casino in downtown Cleveland on Tuesday afternoon after a baby was found alone in a parked car in the casino’s parking lot. The incident has sparked outrage and concern among patrons of the casino and residents of the surrounding neighborhood.
According to witnesses, the baby, who appeared to be around six months old, was discovered by a casino security guard who was making rounds in the parking lot. The guard immediately contacted the authorities, who arrived at the scene within minutes.
“The baby was left alone in the car for at least 30 minutes before we found him,” said Officer John Smith of the Cleveland Police Department. “It’s a miracle that he wasn’t hurt or worse.”
The infant was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and is said to be in good health. Police are currently investigating the incident and are working to locate the baby’s parents or guardians.
“I can’t believe someone would leave their child alone in a car, especially in a place like this,” said Samantha Miller, a regular patron of the casino. “It’s just heartbreaking.”
The incident has raised questions about the safety and security measures at the JACK Casino, as well as the well-being of the baby’s parents or guardians. Many are calling for stricter regulations and oversight to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
“We need to do a better job of protecting our children and ensuring their safety,” said Mayor Frank Jackson of Cleveland. “This incident is a wake-up call for all of us.”
In response to the incident, the JACK Casino has released a statement expressing their concern for the child’s well-being and their commitment to ensuring the safety of all patrons.
“We are deeply troubled by the incident that occurred today and are cooperating fully with the authorities in their investigation,” said the statement. “The safety and security of our patrons, including children, is our top priority.”
As the investigation continues, concerned citizens are urged to contact the Cleveland Police Department with any information regarding the baby or his parents. Meanwhile, the casino has implemented additional security measures to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
