Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting that took place at Caesars Southern Indiana casino on Friday night.
According to police, the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Marcus Johnson, allegedly ambushed a group of patrons inside the casino, opening fire with a semi-automatic weapon. The shooting resulted in the death of two individuals and left several others injured.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene inside the casino as Johnson indiscriminately fired his weapon, sending patrons and employees running for cover. Security personnel were quick to respond and were able to subdue Johnson before he could inflict further harm.
