The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has made a major move in the battle against illegal gambling by requesting Australian internet service providers to block eight online gambling sites.

The sites that are being targeted by ACMA include Kogan Mobile Access, Solomon Electronics, Table Access, Pocket Cube, Oveds Horse Racing, Hoffman Palace, Big Stakes and Golfanzer. These sites have been found to be operating in violation of Australian gambling laws and regulations.
O’Loughlin also emphasized that ACMA is committed to working with internet service providers to block illegal gambling sites and prevent Australian consumers from accessing them. She urged consumers to be cautious when gambling online and to only use licensed and reputable operators.
