Caesars Entertainment Corporation, one of the world’s leading casino and entertainment operators, has officially broken ground on its newest venture at Monmouth Park racetrack in Oceanport, New Jersey. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on a sunny Monday morning, with Caesars executives, local dignitaries, and racing enthusiasts in attendance.
The new property, which will be named Caesars at Monmouth Park, is set to become a premier destination for gaming, dining, and entertainment in the Garden State. The $100 million project will feature a state-of-the-art casino with hundreds of slot machines and table games, a luxurious hotel with over 200 rooms, multiple dining options ranging from casual to fine dining, as well as a spa and fitness center.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Monmouth Park to bring a world-class casino resort to the Jersey Shore,” said Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment. “This project represents our commitment to investing in the local community and creating new opportunities for economic growth and job creation.”
The partnership between Caesars and Monmouth Park is expected to generate hundreds of new jobs for the area, as well as millions of dollars in revenue for the state. In addition to the casino and hotel, the property will also include a retail space, event center, and outdoor pool and recreation area.
“We are excited to welcome Caesars to Monmouth Park and look forward to the positive impact this development will have on our community,” said Bill Knauf, President of Monmouth Park. “This project will not only enhance the entertainment options available on the Jersey Shore, but also provide a significant boost to the local economy.”
Construction on Caesars at Monmouth Park is expected to be completed in 2023, with an official opening slated for the following year. The property will be the latest addition to Caesars’ growing portfolio of casino resorts, which includes iconic properties such as Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City.
As Caesars continues to expand its presence in the United States and around the world, the company remains committed to providing world-class entertainment experiences for its guests. With the groundbreaking at Monmouth Park, Caesars is taking a significant step towards achieving that goal and solidifying its position as a leader in the gaming and hospitality industry.
