Bethlehem Man Charged in Video Gambling Voucher Scam
Authorities in Bethlehem have arrested a local man in connection with a video gambling voucher scam that has been causing chaos in the area. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old John Smith, was charged with multiple counts of fraud and theft after allegedly defrauding several local businesses out of thousands of dollars.
According to police reports, Smith had been frequenting various video gambling establishments in the Bethlehem area and taking advantage of a loophole in the voucher redemption system. Smith is facing a slew of charges, including fraud, theft by deception, and possession of counterfeit vouchers. He is currently being held in custody pending a court hearing.
