On Saturday night, tragedy struck at the Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, Washington as a man was fatally stabbed inside the bustling gambling establishment. The victim, identified as 35-year-old James Thompson, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The suspect, 42-year-old Mark Roberts, was apprehended by casino security personnel and is currently in custody awaiting formal charges.
The incident took place around 11 p.m. in the casino’s main gaming area, where both Thompson and Roberts were seen engaging in a heated argument before things escalated into a violent altercation. Witnesses reported seeing Roberts brandish a knife before lunging at Thompson, ultimately delivering a fatal blow to his chest.
