Installation
To install Rhythmbox on your Linux or Unix-like system, follow these steps:

Usage
Once you have installed Rhythmbox, you can start using it to manage and play your music collection. Here are some common tasks and features:
Adding Music to Library
To add music to your Rhythmbox library, you can follow these steps:
- Open Rhythmbox
- Click on the “Music” tab to switch to the library view
- Click the “+” button to open the file selection dialog
- Navigate to the folder containing your music files
- Select the desired music files
- Click “Open” to add them to your library
Creating and Managing Playlists
Rhythmbox allows you to create and manage playlists to organize your music. Here’s how you can create a new playlist:
- Open Rhythmbox
- Click on the “Playlists” tab to switch to the playlist view
- Click the “+” button to create a new playlist
- Enter a name for the playlist
- You can now drag and drop songs from your library onto the playlist
- To manage playlists, right-click on a playlist to access options such as rename, delete, and export
Playing Audio CDs
To play audio CDs using Rhythmbox:
- Insert the audio CD into your computer’s CD/DVD drive
- Open Rhythmbox
- Click on the “Music” tab to switch to the library view
- Rhythmbox should automatically detect and display the audio CD
- Double-click on the CD to start playback
